Why These 3 iPhone 13 Pro Features Make It Worth The Upgrade

The iPhone 13 lineup was announced at Apple’s September 14th event along with new Apple TV+ shows, the new iPad 9, an all-new iPad Mini, Apple Watch Series 7, and Apple Fitness. To say the least, the event was jammed packed. Apple hosted a virtual event, similar to their events post covid, but this year it was much more relaxed and felt like a normal in-person keynote.

Since the iPhone 13 was released on sale, many people have asked themselves the question, “Should I upgrade?” Many feel like due to the similar design of the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13 is basically the same. Many people struggle to even know the differences between them.

Personally, for me, it was a no-brainer to upgrade. I was upgrading to the iPhone 13 Pro Max from an iPhone 11 Pro Max. After having my iPhone 13 Pro for six days, I can definitely say it was worth the upgrade. After these six days, I can also say that people coming from the iPhone 12 lineup should upgrade to the Pro Lineup if they are interested. Now, if you were considering upgrading from an iPhone 12 to the standard iPhone 13, I would skip this year's upgrade.

These are the three key features that I think make the iPhone 13 Pro lineup worth the upgrade.

ProMotion 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Display

The first feature in the iPhone 13 Pro Max that I have come to absolutely love is the 120Hz adaptive refresh display. Apple is calling this the new Super Retina XDR Display with ProMotion. This feature refreshes the screen 10 to 120 times per second. For example, when you’re scrolling on Instagram or Messages the phone accelerates and decelerates naturally to match the speed of your finger as you scroll. This feature makes the phone feel just so fast. It was one of the first things I noticed as soon as I finished setting up the phone.
