Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows 11, was recently announced on June 24th and it definitely was a very anticipated launch. Since Windows XP, every year has had a repeating theme of consumers enjoying the update or absolutely hating it. If the cycle remains true, this year's update is expected to flop.

However, after the announcement event, many consumers were surprised and shocked by the design changes and useful features. Could this update be the break in the hit or mess cycle?

Here are some of the main features of this update.

Refresh Design

One of the biggest changes in Windows 11 is the refreshed design. To start off, Windows now has a more transparent and glass-like theme, that gives a modern look to the operating system. There are also rounded corners and an overall sleeker look.

The Start Button and Start Menu have now been moved to the bottom center to have a more clean and refreshed look. Some may say the design change to move the menu to the bottom center has a symbolic meaning that Windows 11…
