WatchOS is Apple’s operating system for their line of smartwatches. Each year they try to bring features that enhance one's fitness, mental, and personal health. The Apple Watch is one Apple device that has truly made a difference in people's lives. The heart rate monitoring, the blood oxygen level, and the ongoing list of health-related features have helped people in trying times. The Apple Watch for myself has given me the motivation to start a healthier lifestyle. The tracking of workouts and calories has given me so much motivation to compete with myself and better myself.

With that being said, the Apple Watch is only as good as the software that runs it. WatchOS 8 brings new features and new ways to stay connected. Watch OS 8 was unveiled at Apple’s WWDC 2021, along with IOS 15, iPadOS 15, and MacOS Monterey. Here are some of the top features for WatchOS 8 to help you decide if you should upgrade.
