Apple’s iPhone 13 lineup was just unveiled at Apple's September 14th event and boy was it a jam-backed event. Apple premiered a virtual video on their website and YouTube channel. They started the event by talking about the new Apple TV+ shows, unveiled the new original iPad, an all-new iPad Mini, Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Fitness, and finally the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini introduces a plethora of new features and is Apple's most advanced dual-camera system ever.

Design

The design includes the same flat edge design as the iPhone 12, a ceramic sealed front, a 5.4-inch display and 6.1-inch display, four new colors, and new diagonal positioning of the dual cameras. The colors include a Product Red, Starlight (Rose Gold), Midnight (Black), Blue, and Pink.

The display includes a new Super Retina XDR. This OLED display is 28% brighter than iPhone 12, goes up to 1200 nits of brightness, improved power efficiency, has a cinema standard wide color gamut for more color accuracy, and has ultrahigh pixel density.

Features

The iPhone 13 has longer battery life with the iPhone 13 Mini lasting 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 13 lasting 2.5 hours longer than iPhone 12. The iPhone 13's batteries should truly last the average user all day long.

The iPhone 13 has Apple’s new A15 Bionic chip which has 15 billion transistors, a 6 core CPU (2 high performance & 4 high efficiencies), 4 core GPU, 16 core neural engine and runs 15.8 trillion operations per second.

5G has also gotten faster because of iPhone 13’s custom-designed antennas which lead to more 5G bands.
